typical swiss sunday bread

i have tried several vegan options of a swiss sunday bread. this recipe convinces me and earns a publication!

for two bread

1 cube of yeast

little sugar

3 tea spoons of salt

125 gr. margarine

6 dl oatmilk

1 kg spelt

preperation

melt the margarine in a pan. stir the yeast with little sugar in a big bowl and mix it until foamy. add the salt and stir. pour the oatmilk and the melted margarine and mix well. ad the spelt and knead it until you have a homogeneous dough. cover the bowl with a clean dish towel and leave it during 30 minutes. after 30 minutes the dough is twice as big. knead again (this way your bread gets nice and light) and divide in 4 pieces. out of 2 pieces you form the bread. put the bread on a baking tray with baking paper and cover again with a dish towel for another 15 minutes. meanwhile you preheat your oven on 200 degrees celcius. bake the break during 40 minutes. let them cool down and enjoy them with a delicious home made fruit jam.
